Them: Good afternoon, I'm [name] from [research company], is Mr [Sabu] there?
Me: Please hold.

My husband prefers to say "Please hold" then walk away and commence screaming in the background :-D

I tend to try to sell them things.
"Hi... would you like to bu.."
