Ah, book writing. It seems so easy when you first decide to do it but it can be a nightmare. My first attempt to write a novel failed when I ran out of both ideas and interest after writing for only two months. I was much younger then and had less patience, though. Right now, I'm working on a second book. It's come a very long way in six months but It's still got a long way to go. My advice is to just enjoy it and try not to get distracted by other projects. As for doom, that remains to be seen. ^^
