Propping! Propping is the crafting of realistic replicas of famous movie props, with fanatic attention to detail. I have decided on a low-key (read, lazy and long-term) propping project: A Ghostbusters proton pack. There are so many people who've built replicas of this particular prop, that the material available to help others is incredible. Detailed plans including physical dimensions, photo references pulled from the movies, lists of the original hardware used to make the packs, just on and on and on. So it'll be a heck of a lot easier to do this than say, the pulse rifle from Aliens, (though that's another popular propper project.)

Heck, if you had 1000 bucks or so to blow on this, you could have your pack done in a couple days once all the parts had arrived. But I'll be making mine from scratch mostly. I'm planning on wearing it to Anthrocon next year, along with my partial fursuit. The theme is 'heroes', and I think a Ghostbuster fits that pretty well. :K)
Massive headache this past weekend, didn't do much.
